I found some information on James RAMSEY in the Revolutionary War Pension Applications and posted it on www.genforum.com/ramsey . It includes a letter written to James Jr. from his nephew J.A. James lived in York District, SC after the war but some people may be related as some of his kids went to GA, others TN, and more to IL.
