I will try again... Does it seem likely that the children with John and Ann are grandchildren?? I'm still trying to figure out where Sarah is buried.. either in VA or Missouri.. not sure what she was doing visiting there with "cousin" John in 1910, she is back in Missouri by 1920 living with her son. Not sure if you ever saw this article. If you have been researching the Broady line, you probably have it but it was interesting.... Sarah Broady Head was my great-great grandmother and moved to Missouri... I've attached what I have been able to gather so far.. I was able to determine that her mother's name is listed as Elizabeth on her marriage record which does not list a father's name, so I'm assuming he was dead at the time. Sarah and William married in 1861. Other than that, I have never been able to tie her to any of the other Broady's in the area...I will forward you a message from another researcher.... This family has gotten pushed to the side when a few of the other families called to me. I would be happy to share anything I have.. I do have a picture of Sarah and William's son, John that I can send to you if you ever find a connection. VA (Tumbling Creek) where a few of the Broadys remain today. My name is Jack Hockett and I live in Collegeville, PA with e-mail [email protected] You will find John Broady in the 1850c of Washington Co. VA with wife, Ann; I have always suspected her to have been a CAWOOD. Hope to hear! Jack
