Hey list, I need some direction. I have a 2g-grandfather Elisha Smith who was born in Washington Co. Va. in 1814-1816 depending on which record I use, who married 27 Nov. 1834 in Lee Co. Va. to Cynthia Hall born abt 1813 Lee Co. Va. He lived there (Lee Co) until 1881 when he moved to Claiborne Co. Tenn. He died there in 1894. My concern is to find his siblings and parents.....so is there any records that I can check to gain information on a child/young adult between 1814 and 1834? This man has been illusive for thirty years and I'd like to break through this brick wall. thank you phil smith
