Go to: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~berry/newupload/pages/figs.htm Scroll down until you see "1790 Personal Property Tax List Washington County, Virginia" and click on Book 1 and Book 2. Both files will download to your computer as PDF files. The tax lists are organized into two districts. I have called them Book 1 and Book 2. The people you are looking for could be in either. Each book is organized into rough alphabeltical order -- meaning, for instance, all the As are grouped together, but the As are not alphabetized within themselves. All Washington County tax lists from 1782-1850 are available through LDS.
