Twenty years ago (when I would scroll through the census records on microfilm at the Bristol Public Library), I remember them having a clear copy of the 1900 Washington Co. census. Now, Ancestry.com is presenting an awful image of the 1900 census with the lower pages black and unreadable. Is this time playing a trick on my mind or am I correct in remembering a clear copy of the census?
