Samuel Miller was my ggg grandfather. He married Mary Smith May 6, 1811. I don't know where Hulda came from either unless it was her middle or nickname. I am not sure if he had siblings or married again. That is the furthest I've gotten. I've been trying to find something on Mary Smith. No luck so far. She may have been from the Cherokee tribe, but theres so many Mary Smiths that I got lost. I am a dorect decendant from Samuel and Mary... their son Jacob, then his son Henry, then James Sr, then James (Jimmy) Jr, then me. I am Kathy Miller Wheatley. My father and I both live in KY. I am so excited to find somebody from my lineage. Which branch of the family is yours? I have some info on the Miller family. I also have a copy of the letter of admittance to the orphanage where Henry and Minnie were sent. It is very interesting. I am trying to contact my aunt who has tons of info.
