Does anybody have a clue as to the parentage of Achsah Jackson who married James Davis in 1819 in Washington Co.? Achsah was born in North Carolina in 1796. There was a Reuben Jackson in Washington Co. in 1820 that could have been her father, but hard to tell since she was married by that time. I believe this Jackson family must have arrived in VA between 1810 and 1820. Just hoping to run into someone familiar with this Jackson line! Regards, Lisa Wallen Logsdon
