The death certificate of Ephraim MURRAY lists his parents as Thomas MURRAY and Nancy ALLEN. However, Washington County 1850-1870 census records list Jemima as Thomas' wife -- Ephraim was born abt. 1852. Ephraim's marriage record also lists Thomas & Jemima MURRAY as parents. Possibly the informant on the death certificate got the name wrong. Thomas was born about 1790 in NC, and Jemima was born abt. 1815 in VA. Does anyone have info on Thomas, Nancy, or Jemima?
