(Part of Washington Co became Smyth Co in 1832-33). My Thomas m Mary Elizabeth ____ according to deed records my cousin found. Thomas and Mary named one of their daughters Amanda and one of their sons was named Jacob and called "Jake." Other siblings were Andrew Jackson, Wm Preston, Martha Ann, Charles W, Robert M(my direct line), Samuel?, John R, Mary, Susanna, and Elizabeth. Perhaps my Thomas was the son of your Thomas?
