MANTZ & Nancy MILLER were married 31 Dec 1823 in Wythe Co., VA by S. H. McNUTT. [Source: "Wythe County, Virginia Marriages 1790 - 1853," (2006), by Beverly Repass Hoch & Mary B. Kegley, page 38]. S. H. McNutt also married Samuel BEATTY & Sally MILLER. The only date in the above book was as follows: "[April] 27th" (which came after an April 26th marriage and that marriage came after a March 11, 1824 marriage). - - - - - - - - - - "on December 9, 1821, Susannah STALEY, widow of Valentine, married James DAVIS, Sr., and deeds continued to be recorded from both of them.
