Dougherty Allen married Rebecca Gillan, November 28, 1759, New Castle, DE. (I think she was Rebecca Garrison, widow of Edward Gillan/Gillen) Daugherty & Rebecca had at least one child, John, born in New Castle February 14, 1762. Daugherty Allen appeared on a 1779 tax list in Orange Co. NC. I found a death record for James Allen, son of Daugherty and Rebecca Allen died in Washington Co VA December 15, 1855, age 80, birthplace Orange Co NC.
