    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Morrow Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/GBC.2ACE/1490.4 Message Board Post: Thanks so much, folks -- this is just what I needed! Also you have helped me solve a question I had. I have an old (1918) newspaper article about a Morrow reunion, that published Adam and Isabella's church letter: "Church Letter to Adam Morrow and his wife Isabella That Adam Morrow and his wife, Isabessa, has lived in the congregation these eight years and was admited to the privilege of baptism for their children. His wife was admitted to the Lord's table and they have both behaved themselves soberly and honestly and is free from any publick scandal known to me. Sing. Samuel Edmiston, Ebing Springs, Va. Washington County, March 10, 1788." I had wondered why the name of the church wasn't mentioned. Now that I know that Ebing Springs *was* the name of the church (and probably the community, too) it all makes sense. Incidentally, later children of the family are buried at Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church near Tusculum in Greene Co., TN. So again it makes sense that they would have moved from a Presbyterian Church. This probably makes them "Scotch-Irish" like the rest of my Greene Co. ancestors. Thanks again, Jim Slone
