Was Wesley White (early settler) actually John Wesley White? I am researching George White, m. Eunice Dungan (s), 12 Feb 1795, Washington Co. VA. George d. Casey Co. KY on 17 Feb 1824. Many mentioned in George's will came out of Lunenburg Co. VA to Casey-Lincoln-Mercer Co. KY. Casey formed from Lincoln Co. in 1807. Aaron Lewis line from Anson Co. NC--with father Jeremiah being born in Anson Co. NC. I am certain George was s/o Joseph White Jr. and Sarah Headley/Hadley. These men appeared to have traveled to and fro. There was a Richard and Hezekiah White in Rev. War pages at Mecklenburg Co. VA USGENWEB. This site gives variation of spellings of their surname. Am wondering if Hezekiah was same Hezekiah who married Susan Jackman in Mercer Co. KY abt. 1809--and removed to Howard Co. MO. Those mentioned in will of George White were Thomas Hutchings/Hutchinson and Jacob JohnsonJohnston. The 2 spellings of surnames appeared as Hutchings and Hutchinson in the same will of George White. Jacqueline Ambler Lewis was m. to Thomas Hutchings daughter, Elizabeth. Henry Harper, Leonard Taylor, William Lobb, Thomas Shannon, William Minor. The Hutchings name goes to marriages within the Henry Blagrove and Elizabeth Stokes of Lunenburg Co. VA. Thanks for any info, Shari
