To Bob Ford: Please contact me privately at Latture@mac.com To Theresa Griffiths: Harmon Latture died in Sullivan County, TN on 18 Nov 1833. He and Agnes left Washington County about 30 years earlier. See Bob's notation on the sale of his land in Washington County from his earlier message. Note on Harmon's land in Washington County: A cousin and I found this land and walked (climbed?) it one summer. The part near the river (South Fork of the Holston) is very hilly. I found a TVA map with a cemetery marked on it very near this location. I found a farmer in his field and asked if I could see the cemetery. He said, "What cemetery?" There were probably 20 to 30 graves in a dense thicket of trees but all the remaining tombstones were not readable. They were made of limestone and had flaked off in sheets so there was absolutely nothing there to read. I suspect Hermon's first wife (unknown) was buried there. Bob you did an excellent job of laying out all the information on Hermon and the Bowles family. Thank you. Van
