There were COLEs and CROWs in Newberry Co. SC associated with Bush River Baptist Church. CROW is an unusual name. Are these COLEs and CROWs in Washignton Co. VA from the same line of COLEs and CROWs as those from Newberry Co. SC? I descend from Davis Lawson Cole b 1820 VA who settled in Chambers Co. AL. His daughter became my Grandmother Abernathy there, and her in-laws were from Newberry Co. SC. There were COLEs and CROWs from Newberry Co. SC who were Baptist ministers. At least one CROW family from Newberry Co. SC went to Perry Co. AL. Mary in TX
