Lavinia Wolfe's birth (as well as that of her younger sister) is recorded in the Elizabethtown (now Hagerstown), MD Lutheran Church, both being listed as daughters of Wendle & Dolly Wolfe. Wendel Wolfe can be bound on the 1768 Tax List of Berks County, PA. When Lavinia died in WCV, her parents were listed also as "Wendle & Dolly Wolfe". Hope this might help.
