I am researching my great-great grandfathers family. We have not known his parents names so I called the funeral home that did his burial and the information they had on file was that his dad was John C. Lewis and mother was Rose Sergent. John and Rose were married in Wise county in 1872. They had a son in 1873, my great-great grandfather, Patrick Henry Lewis. In the 1880 census John had remarried and my gg grandfather was listed and Ison. Patrick Henry Lewis married Martha Kathleen Hall. They both died in Washtington County and are buried in Hendrix cemetary. If anyone has any information on these families I would love to hear from you!
