Surnames: kinder Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/GBC.2ACE/1468 Message Board Post: need 1830 Washington Co Virginia census lookup for John Kinder Jesse Kinder orJacob Kinder . they are on page 259-260 Washington Co Virginia census per the census index they are all there in the 1820 Washington Co Va census My GGG grandfather Amos kinder born 1804 Va is living in Pike Co Illinois in 1840 and 1850 census and then moved to texas by 1860 wise co tx. and 1870 Fannin Co Tx.he was born in Wythe Virginia , his father is Jacob kinder. there are Jacob kinders there in Wythe co va. but Amos is born 1804 . the 1820 census ,Jacob has son age under 10 which fits.but 1810 census none of the three jacobs that are there in that co has sons under age 10. i think his father left that co for awhile.His father died 1825, so he would be living with one of his brothers in the 1830 census thanks for looking this up for me, i really appreciate it.
