Greer & his wife Louisa V. Moore. Both were born in Wilkes County, NC but were last known to be living in either Watauga County, NC, Johnson County, TN, or Washington County, VA after the 1930 US Census. George & Louisa were sharecroppers and according to family, lived in 15 different places in 20 years. Their children were: Bertha Earl Greer (md. Granville Walter Taylor) Gertie Etta Grrer (md. James William Moore) Maggie Rosetta Grrer (md. Nathan Widener) Fred Jones Greer (md. Bessie Arnold) Hoy Wilson Greer (md. Gladys Dolinger) Lloyd Cicero Greer Addie Lucretia Greer (md. Arthur Fenner) Rosa Mae Greeer (md. Blackburn) Ruth Ethel Greer (md. Garrett) Lonnie Walter Greer Harley C. Greer At least three of their children are buried at Sunset Memorial Park in Damasus, Washington County, Virginia. Bertha Greer Taylor is buried with her husband Walter in Ashe County, NC. I have family photos to share if anyone is interested. If anyone can provide information regarding their burial location, it would be very appreciated.
