It not only lists the cemetaries (large and small) it also lists the people buried in each one. I think the person who put it together was Margaret Davis. You might contact the Historical Society in Washington Co. or the Library to see if they can advise you where you can purchase a copy if you're interested. It's an excellent source of information.

Posted on: Washington Co. Va Queries Reply Here: http://genconnect.rootsweb.com/gc/USA/Va/Washington/10150 Surname: Halliard, Hilliard, Hillard, Hilyard ------------------------- Have come to a stop. Need help! Looking for info on William Halliard/Hilliard. First record I can find in Washington County,VA is 1781 Survey 200 acres for William Halliard that mentions certificate from Commissioners for Washington and Montgomery Cty, and an Act of the General Assembly. Would either of those documents be available at the Courthouse or Library of VA., and would they be able to give any further information about the party involved. Second, William settled the land in 1772, and he died in 1786. A grandson of William stated in a census that his father was of forgein birth, which would mean that William probably came to America from(possibly England) shortely before he settled the land in Washington Cty in 1772. I do not know where to go from here. Thanks Bonnie Does anyone have some info on where Settlers came from at that time. Passenger arrivals and such. I have checked a few passenger list with no luck.
