My grandparents and many other family members are buried there. The view is breathtaking from the cemetery itself. I really appreciate it from an artist's eye and love to visit whenever we can. The Appalachian Trail runs along the road at the bottom of the hill going up to the cemetery. My branch of the family migrated to WV in the 30's due to the lack of work in the timber industry to go to work in the coal mines.
