Could anyone tell me where I could locate an obituary for Wm. D. Printz who died 28 December 1881 in Washington Co., VA? He probably lived in Damascus. Should I write to the local library or does the Library of Virginia have an obituary collection? Thank you Lynn Thomas

According to Jenny Wiley Country Vol. IV information as given by my ggrandfather, Martin and as recorded on the Goble Website : Susan/Susannah Gobble/Goble d/o Abraham and Margaret Phelps Gobble m. John M. Hall 11 Oct. 1845 in Johnson Co., KY. There is no record of the marriage or either person being in KY in 1845. I would appreciate it if anyone that may have access to Washington Co. marriage records for those two somewhere along the North Fork of the Holston River to please check that time frame for me. I think they married in VA but cannot prove one way or the other. Thanks, Ron Hall
