    1. Re: [VAWASHIN] Re: Jackson's
    2. Does anybody have a clue as to the parentage of Achsah Jackson who married James Davis in 1819 in Washington Co.? Achsah was born in North Carolina in 1796. There was a Reuben Jackson in Washington Co. in 1820 that could have been her father, but hard to tell since she was married by that time. I believe this Jackson family must have arrived in VA between 1810 and 1820. Just hoping to run into someone familiar with this Jackson line! Regards, Lisa Wallen Logsdon

Five children are listed in the 1860 census -- William, Lucinda, Sarah, Robert, and Martha. It appears that Jubal died between 1856 and 1860 in Washington County. Thank you, Ann

    1. [VAWASHIN] Apprentice Bonds, 1810-1825, WCV
    2. Dana McGuire
    3. Can anyone tell me where to find apprentice bonds, for the years 1810-1825, in Washington Co., or poorhouse records for the same years? I have a hunch this apprenticeship may have originated in the poorhouse. Was there more than one poorhouse in WCV? Saltville has been given as a possible location. Thanks for your help.
