Guess I'll need to hunt around for info on Harvey. In Washington County, Va. Marriages 1853-1880, I found the following marriage: Thomas G. Null and Thurza L. Paragin, Nov 26 1879. Thomas is 26, widowed, b Wilkes Co, NC and a farmer. His parents are Noah and Sally Null. Thurza is 32, b Wash Co, and the daughter of John and Thurza Privett. On Sep 29, 1871, "Thursey" Privitt married John A. Parigin. In 1851-1891 Marriages Smyth County Va by Hockett., his brother John P. Null married Martha Cheeks on Jun 28, 1883. Interestiingly, he was born in Grayson County, VA. This might be your Thomas. If so, you might want to check both Wilkes and Grayson County for earlier records.

This is what I have on that family: (you may have all this already) Herb Null and Bessie Clark had 5 girls, (Bertha, Marie, Caldonia, Nellie and Josephine). Caldonia married Ernest Kestner. Their child was Harvey, born 1936. He married Bonnie Hendrix and they had 3 children, (Jeff, Jason and Joann). I don't have a John Kestner listed in records--or that Caldonia remarried. Could John and Ernest be one in the same? The person I am searching for is the father of Herb Null, Thomas. I don't have any information on him. Let me know if you know where I could look for that. I got my Kestner info from Bonnie Kestner at [email protected] She might know more about the Caldonia story.
