It is appreciated by so many. What a surprize to me to see Thomas Harlow b.1802 and m.30 Jan 1853, second wife Margaret Spurgeon. I never would have thought to look under the Spurgeon Surname. I have had to calculate his birth year by census records for years and then there it was. My next hope is to find Thomas's first wife whose name might be Jane ? with whom Thomas had the following children, 1) John Harlow b.8 June,1833 (my gr.gr.grandfather)m. Harriet Gobble B. 29 Feb 1828 2)Jane abt 1839 m.12 Feb, 1858,Charles Ferral b. 1803 3)James abt 1841 Thank you again so much. I discovered it on the Konnarock quad of the USGS Topographic map. It shows a Ketchum Cemetery in Washington County, about a mile east of the S. Fork of the Holston River and a mile south of Rush Creek. This location is about 2-3 miles east southeast of Lodi and about a mile west of a "Masada" Church marked on the map, and a quarter mile or less north of Ketchum Branch. This is almost certainly where some of my Ketchum/Catchum kin lived in late 1700s (Joseph, James, Edward, et al). You can view this map by going to www.topozone.com and finding the Washington County map named Konnarock. Thanks. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. I found Hickman Floyd, Charles Felty's father-in-law, on the Washington County, Virginia tax rolls, from 1841 through 1846, then he disappears. I assume Hickman moved to Kentucky in 1846-1847. My information is that Charles Felty and Sarah Floyd married on 26 Oct 1846 in Greenup County, Kentucky, but this is "handed down" information - I have no source information. I cannot find Charles on the tax rolls of Washington County, and thought perhaps he never lived as head of household in Washington County. I cannot find when he was born (although my records indicate 1818-1820, nor when he died, although I know he was alive in 1870. I cannot locate him on the 1880 census records, but found two of his younger sons living with family members. Have we emailed each other before? I can't tell by your user name.
