    3. Greetings, If you are looking for ABSTRACTS, it is true. Handley has most available abstracted Warren Co records. But if you want ORIGINAL records, visit the Warren County courthouse. If photocopies of originals will do, the Warren Heritage Society's Laura Virginia Hale Archives has photocopies of some records and also has published and non-published abstracts of Warren County records. (note: there's a difference between abstracts and transcriptions) Inter-library loan is also an option. You can seek books and micro-film from Richmond. The Hale Archives is a wonderful resource for Warren Co genealogy, regional history and civil war information. There are a lot of little treasures in small archives, well worth a trip to check them out. Linda Whitmer (former Archivist, LVHale Archives) :) PS: I've begun abstracting Warren County Will books. I have the rough draft of Will Book A complete and most of Will Book B. I'll do simple look ups. BTW, I abstracted ALL contents, not just the wills.
