Hi List, I have a problem! My grandparents are buried in Greenhills Memory Gardens, and I know where their graves are. My mother and several other relatives say that my great grandmother is buried in an older cemetery adjacent to Greenhills. They say my uncle and aunt were also buried in this older cemetery in 1944, but the stones are missing. I have my uncle and aunt's death certificates, and they both say "Burial, Cedar Bluff, Va. Funeral Director, Farmer Funeral Home." My mother went to the cemetery last year, but could only find a vacant area with an old house where the old cemetery once was. Does anyone have any information regarding this older cemetery? My great grandmother died in 1906/1908. Her name was Maggie/Margaret Ellen Crusenberry Williams, wife of Rufus Aaron Williams. Is there a place in Tazewell that would have records of who owns the land the old cemetery is on? Someone must be paying taxes on it. There must be a zoning record or something to lead me to the owner and perhaps some answers. Any information or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Maggie is my 25 year old brick wall! Diana
