This Johnson family has it origins in Tazewell Co... in particular TipTop, Va. "Birdie" (maybe Bertha) Johnson... this would be the married name, maiden unknown. Her husband, per oral history, was killed will working on power lines for Old Dominion Electric. (think this would have to be some time in the 1930s... dunno nothing for sure!) Believe their are at least 8 children for Birdie, 7 female and 1 male. The children should be present until about 1960, or as late as mid 1990s possibly. There is a reference to 'grandma Pool' (not sure of spelling), tho I know not maternal or paternal. Another local mentioned which may or may not be significant... Jenkin Jones, Ky/Va?
