Okay; I have looked at the online census for 1820. It is fantastic, but I still have some questions. Can anyone tell me if it is in any way possible to find out more information about these folks, or did they only record head-of-household data & then numbers??? I am trying to find out more specifically on the Hankins families that show as Hawkins in the census. These would be John Hawkins page 249; and Joseph and Moses Hawkins on page 250. I also have the same question for the 1830 census. Did they record more data on the actual census? If not, I am still up against my brick wall. Thanks so very much again!
