Scott, if you are going to Tazewell, you can stay at the Tazewell Co. Historical Society building, the Greever House on 100 East Main Street. (540-988-4069) . They have set up a few rooms, like a bed and breakfast. Call Pat Surface, she is an authority on Tazewell Co. history. Or Woodie Mullins. If you go to the Thompson Valley, visit T.E. Bowling in his store / tavern at Frog Level. He knows all the history by heart! Tell him I sent you!
