My husband and I were in Tazewell for only one afternoon and it certainly wasn't enough time. We did visit the courthouse which was just great and went over to the Library and found a couple of books with surnames like Harrison, Cartmill, and Brewester. Wish we had more to visit. It was also raining and not able to visit any cemeteries which I really wanted to do. I am looking for burian place of Guy T. Harrison and his 1st wife, Clementine Harmon. Wasn't able to do so. Clementine Harmon died before 1850 and Guy T. Harrison, my third great grandfather, married Nancy Brewster. Would be happy to exchange information with you. Tazewell a quaint little place and just wish I had more time to see more. We did see a few buffalo on the way out. Really nifty.
