Diana, I was there on Sunday. Wish I could have met you. The cemetery does need work. Glad you found what you are looking for though. I did see one old Claypool gravestone, but it was so worn I had to wet the stone to get the name to pop up. I always carry a bottle of water with me. It doesn't damage the stone in any way, but sure makes it easier to read. I found several of my Richardson graves there, too, but I had to cut away a lot of grass to see them. Claypool Hill is pretty run down, but Greenhills does cut the grass so at least it's neat even if the stones are in bad shape. The Tazewell County Historical Society sent me a list of available books, and "Some Old Cemeteries of Tazewell County" is on it. The library in Tazewell has several copies of it, too. Claypool Hill is in the book. Diana in Georgia >>
