Hello all, Seeking info on the family of E. B. Harris who is listed on the 1900 Tazewell Co census in HH# 12, pg 210B. I would like to confirm that this is the same person as Blair Harris born 1854 to James and Charlotte Bowman Harris. Listed on the 1900 census with E. B. Harris is wife Alice age 24 (but could be off a few years, judging by childrens ages), born June 1875, married 3 years. Children are Ely/Eli Harris, son, age 1, and the following Sargent step-children: John age 14, Cora 10, Etta 6, McKinley 5, and Amy 3. I assume that Alice was a widow and that her Sargent/Sergent husband died about 1897. A William Sargent, age 34, lived in HH# 10 and a Robert Sargent, age 28, lived in HH# 11, and probably are related to the deseased husband. Or, it is possible that the children were his step-children from a previous marriage. Can anyone help? Thanks. ~Linda
