The photo of Patton MARTIN's Children found on the Tazewell Library of Virginia Collection linked on the Tazewell Web Page has Jane DRIVER pictured. I have two other photos of my great grandmother Sarah Jane Martin Driver that is proof that this is in fact one and the same person. This is really a break through for me and I would appreciate any information on this family. The photo also had a Mary FERRELLL and I would also like to have some info on her. The caption on the photo is not as descriptive as I would have like it to have been. I guess they all lived in the Paint Lick area of the County and near Sinking Waters. This is also the same area for my CRABTREE and HARRIS families. What little information I have in the way of a Russell County Marriage Register listing Sarah Jane and Phillip DRIVER marriage in 1876 and a 1860 Russell County Census listing and a couple of births for Patton MARTIN and family. The information as listed is somewhat confusing and conflicting and I really need to get it in order. I live in California but have a cousin that is doing hands on research in Tazewell and the local areas. Boundary changes during the 1850's/60's add to the confusion.
