    3. CEDAR BLUFF --------------------------- Mrs. Henry PRUETT died at her home about one and a half miles west of this place on the 27th. Her death was very sudden and unexpected, she was in apparent good health up to fifteen minutes of her death. She was seized with an epileptic fit while preparing dinner for her family and never recovered. The family and friends have our sincerest sympathy in their sad affliction. Mr. Henry ROARK'S family, of Knoxville, Tenn. is now permanently located in our town. Mr. ROARK is engaged in the furniture and undertaking business. He is an excellent workman and we think deserves the patronage of the citizens of our town and vicinity. Thomas LOWE, Scott DYE, Bob WINGO, and J.F. BELTON were arraigned before Justice DUFF on the 27th on various charges of disorderly conduct, assault and battery, carrying weapons, etc. LOWE was fined $26.00 and costs while the others got off with $1.00 apiece. Mr. W.H. WHITE was the recipient of a large box of flowers yesterday, we don't know where they came from but we almost know they grew in Tazewell. Miss Alice WHITE visited relatives at Honaker Saturday and Sunday.
