Hello Everyone, Just wanted to let you know that in the Hale Cemetery in Bluewell, WV on land once owned by my GGGrandparents Bailey J. Hale & Martha Ann Butt there are Dillons buried. The spelling is different, but they may be from the same family. They are: Sallie Herndon Dillon Bragg 1855 - 1938 "Ma" Lucille N. Dillon July 10, 1880 Nov. 11, 1934 Charles A. There is also a marriage between Elizabeth Dillion and Jesse Belsher, Dec 25, 1818. Could this have been an Aunt??? It appears that they lived in that portion of Tazewell County that became Giles County. You might find something there. Your best bet is probably to search for wills. Happy Hunting! IF you ever get someone to reply to your Dillion query I too, am interested. I trace my lineage from Rebecca P Dillion and Lewis W Belcher. They were living in central Mercer County during the War for southern Independence and until their deaths in the 1890's here in Mercer County. I have all their children and know where three of them are buried. I've been up against a brick wall since I found them several years ago. Hope this is of some help to you and your Dillion research! glenn belcher > Cathy Brubaker wrote: > Does anyone know the parents of these Dillions?
