Thanks for responding, Elke. You have sent me some information. You probably remember that I have this brick wall: HARRISON BOLING! I was recently told by a cousin that her great aunt had mentioned that Harrison and his brother, Mitchell's father was William Bolling. So, I am revisiting the William Bolling issue. I did find a William Boling who married Mary Ann White in Granville NC in 1787. This is a possibility for Harrison's parents because I believe Harrison was born circa 1800. Since he and his brother both have surnames as a given name, I wonder if there is a clue -maybe I need to look into the Harrison family and/or the Mitchells. I feel that to find this family, I am going to have to approach it from another angle. The William Boling who married in Granville NC may have come from Lee Co VA. Sooner or later, I will find the piece I need to fit it all together. If you have any thing that you think may fit into this family, please do send it. Thanks again!
