Again quoting from J.N. Harman's book --there were 5 Peery emigrants: John, Thomas, James, George and Joseph. The first four were thought to be brothers --Joseph was considered a relative, but exact relationship wasn't known. The Scotch Irish settled Augusta County --most came by way of Philadelphia. Direct descendant of Pocahontas (aka MATOAKA POCAHONTAS POWHATAN) (1595-1617) who married John Rolfe (1585-1622) and first name became Rebecca in 1613 after converting to Christianity. Had a son named Thomas Smith Rolfe (1614-1676) who in turn had a daughter named Jane Jana Rolfe (1650-1676) that married a Robert Bolling (1646-1709) g-g-great grandfather to Benjamin Bowling. Eric
