Hi Scott:::::::::::Your software must be superb. Will you give it one more test, for me? I have been trying to find the historic location of MANNERING, WV. This is supposed to be located 2-1/2 miles NW of Godfrey, WV. The road runs basically NW to McComas. Mannering may have been the name of the Post Office, which encompassed a large geographical land mass. Some people say that McComas was Mannering. However, McComas was a thriving community around the turn of the century, and, probably had a P.O. The birth and death records, of many of my family members have Mannering as the address. There were only a few doctors in that whole area of the state at that time. Usually only one, at a time, in this particular locale. These few doctors listed Mannering, for my family members, between the years of 1907-1919. Even the relatives whose names appear on these records, do not remember the name, let alone, the location. I was born and raised within four miles, of this vaporized Mannering. And, we may find that Mannering was the P.O. name at McComas. Will you give it a try? Thank you.
