Doug, Here's a copy of the treasury warrant from the research files of Thomas T. Thompson. It names Israel's children. Do you know the surname of Israel's wife, Sarah? Israel is the s/o Lydia Unknown Elswick Lorton and Jacob Lorton, and the step-brother of Mary Elswick, who m. Archibald Thompson, John, Lydia and Jonathan Elswick. He had a sister, Rebekah, b. 1754, but we haven't found her in records, or at least so far as I know. Source: Thomas T.
