Don't worry about it Bob. People get so sensitive over the littlest things these days. If you are having trouble using the shift key to create caps at the start of a sentence because of your hands, then just do like you did, use all lower case. In the cyberworld there is something called netiquette (basically etiquette for message posting) and using all caps is seen as shouting or used for emphasis only.
