These are the "documented facts" on Harrison Boling: 1840 Blount County Census - Harrison Bolin, Age 30-40, one female , Age 30-40, 3 males and 2 females, all under 15 years of age. Oct 29, 1835 - 2 acres of Land deeded to Harrison Boling from William Gamble and William Wilson. Gamble and Wilson were indebted to Andrew Peery in the sum of $200.00 Andrew Peery was willing to wait an additional 11 months for Harrison to pay the bill. This land was on waters of Little River and Ellejoy Creek beginning near the lands of John F. Garner, crossing the great road...also two milk cows, one red and one pied, and one sorrel mare. Wit: Thomas R. McKenry, Samuel McKenry. 1842 (?) Andrew Peery, Thomas R. McKenry, William McTei(g) and James Thompson were appointed administrators for Harrison's estate. TN governor was James E. Jones 1854 - Daughter, Mary Jane Boling, 20, married Gordon Cloyd Conley in Tazewell VA Parents listed: Harrison & Martha Boling 1860- Son, Andhers (Andrew?) P. Bowling, 25, married Barbarby Wyan (Wynn?) in Tazewell VA: Parents listed: Harrison & M. Bowling Civil War- Andrew P. Boling in 50th VA Infantry, Company L - rank Private Things I have been told, but have no proof: Harrison wife was Matilda Peery They attended Ellejoy Baptist Church in Blount Co. TN Harrison was named guardian for Mitchell Boling in 1838. I have descendants of Mary Jane and Gordon Cloyd Conley - they were my great, great grandparents.
