    3. Sheila, Clementine Harman/Harmon was the granddaughter of Lydia Skaggs. Clementine Harman was born about 1806 in Washington Cty., Va. and died about Jan. 1850 or in late 1849. Her father was Henry Harman born: 1780 Washington Cty., Va. and married Sarah Mitchell about 1798. Sarah was born about 1780 in Washington Cty., Va. Henry Herman,s father was Mathias Hermann born 1736 near Strasburg, Shenandoah, Va. He died 2 Apr. 1832, Dry Fork , Tazewell Cty., Va and married Lydia Skaggs about 1760. Lydia Skaggs was born about 1736, Strasburg, Va. and died 2 Oct. 1814. You can an ancestral chart of the Harmans on www.familysearch.org. Just type in Clementine Harman's name in the blanks and then click on Ancestral Fil. Hope this helps. Would you have any information about where Clementine Harman was buried (maybe in Tazewell or Washington Counties.) Any help would be appreciated. 2. Lula Hunter
    3. Anyone researching the Akers name will want to read the contents of a very valuable document, a handwritten diary written by Archibald Thompson, listing Archibald's brothers, sisters, marriages, travels, Indian invasion, Revolutionary War declaration, school, trade, etc. Henry and Charles Skaggs married Archibald's sisters, Mary and Lucinda Thompson. Tazewell pioneers whom married Henry and Charles Skaggs sisters were John Hankins, Sr (married Elizabeth Skaggs), and Mathias Harman (married Lydia Skaggs). The web site where you will want to go is: http://www.public.asu.edu/~moore Lula Hankins Hunter

Also I'm going to send a link to my husband's step-father; he's an Akers, and I think he may match up with these folks. Thanks for all your help, and hard work. Kellie Kay

    3. Don't worry about it Bob. People get so sensitive over the littlest things these days. If you are having trouble using the shift key to create caps at the start of a sentence because of your hands, then just do like you did, use all lower case. In the cyberworld there is something called netiquette (basically etiquette for message posting) and using all caps is seen as shouting or used for emphasis only.
