    3. Hello, My line extends from son DAVID G. YOST. Can fill in some info on this line if you're interested. Carol, I would also like to have your gedcom file. My grandfather, DAVID PRESTON YOST was buried in the Tazewlll area abt. 1928 but have not been able to find where. Do either of you have any idea where he could be buried? I visited Tazewell last August for several days and tried to find everything on this YOST line at the courthouse and library. Didn't have time to visit historical society. Saw papers where DAVID G. YOST owned land approximately 7 miles from Tazewlll on rt. 61 at edge of Clearwater Creek and Wolf Creek. Did not have time to find the land. Will give you any info I have. 3. The Yosts are buried in a family cemetrery with my Ayers up on a hill in a housing development in Tazewell. I had a 2nd cousin show us the cemetery. I'll have to write to her to get the directions. I never would have found it without her. My family is going again this summer if Darlene doesn't reply. 1. [VATAZEWE] Claypool Family Cemetery
    2. Hi List, Anyone out there have any information on the Claypool Family Cemetery? It's located adjacent to Greenhills Memory Gardens in Claypool Hill/Cedar Bluff. I spoke with the county tax office, and they have the property listed as both Claypool Family Cemetery and Claypool Hill Cemetery, but couldn't find an owner. Apparently there is a question as to whether or not cemeteries are taxable. I spoke with Greenhills Memory Gardens, and they have no information on the property. They maintain it in order to keep the tall grass from making their property look bad. Greenhills opened in 1958 according to their office, and the adjacent cemetery was already there. I know that several of my ancestors were buried there in 1936 and 1944, and some may be there from as early as 1906, but for some reason the stones have been removed. We all know about that problem! Anyone knowing anything at all about the property, or anyone with any suggestions as to where to go next, please let me know. Diana in Georgia

    3. I am looking for information on James Maxwell Hensley b. 1911 in Ky. He married Mildred Francis Houk. Mildreds family is from Hart Co. Ky. They moved to Hendricks Co. Indiana where he died March 27, 1988. It is possible his fathers name was Willie Thomas Hensley, but we are not sure. It is possible his parents died when he was young. He grew up in the home of Freida Young. I have no other information on him. If someone could help me locate his family I would surely be greatful. Thank you, Lisa Marcum

    3. My wifes family came out of SW VA in about 1790 to near Kingsport, TN then later on to AL and MS. John Hankins moved into TN and married Dicey Olliver there in 1797. His father-Richard Hankins lived in Montgomery Co, VA and other places in VA. He came South with John and died near Kingsport in 1800. Could this be the same family you were refering to. I have the line down to present day with siblings and some locations if you believe so. Contact me direct if you wish.
