    3. I just wanted to take this time to apologize to everyone for how far behind I have fallen with the Archives. This has been one heck of a summer :) But it's been fun, just extremely busy. I have updated the WV counties with files recieved during July, so those are already online for you to see. I am now working on the Virginia Counties. The first update I do will be for files rcvd in July, so if you've sent a file in August, it won't be on this update. I need to finish one month before I begin on another. My youngest just started kindergarten and I haven't started back to work yet, so next week I plan to spend getting everything all caught up. Assuming nothing goes wrong, I should have time to get it all done. Thank you all for your patience with me :) Also, I have inherited three new counties in Virginia and will begin working on those web pages after I have finished my work on the counties I have pending files for. Those counties are Goochland, Henrico, and Hanover. So be thinking of anything that you'd like to submit for those counties and soon I'll be posting new files there as well. Thanks again for all of you who have supported me and the archives. I hope to be more prompt in the future :) Jeannie ************* Now Available: "The Descendants of John Thomas Clay, Jamestown Immigrant and son of Sir John Clay of Wales" Also available: "The Descendants of James Bailey & Lucy Simms" For more info: http://www.trellis.net/users/madamx

    3. Ann, Do you have dates for John Francis Brown? My great grandmother was Francis Elizabeth Brown. She married James Raleigh Linkous. On their marriage license, it says she is the daughter of J. F.Brown. Same person? Granny Linkous was born circa 1875 and died in 1959. The marriage took place at J. W. Sparks house in 1894. I believe that Joshua William was related to both of them in some way. He was Raleigh's grandfather - I am not sure of the relationship to Fanny - just know that her mother was Martha H. Sparks, d/o Robert and Susan Sparks. I just don't know Robert's relationship to Joshua William Sparks. Any hints out there?
