Wife: Susanna Witnesses: Jesse Cocks, William Spratley, and John Spratley found this in "Marriages of some Virginia Residents 1607-1800" Acrill, William 1737 resident of Charles City County married Anne Cocke CA 1755 daughter of Richard Also found William Acrill in "Virginia in 1760: A Reconstructed Census in Charles City Co, VA sources sited: Henrico County, VA Court Orders 1755-1762 LVA Reel 67 page 441 and Charles City County, VA Court Orders 1758-1762 LVA Reel 15 pages 178 and 231 The reason I am so curious is because the name Acril in various spellings shows up as a middle name in several of my Surry Co, Va Savage/Savedge/Savidge line and was also the middle name of my g g grandfather George Acrile Savage in Halifax Co, NC (George's father James H. was born in Surry Co, VA).
