Seeking information about William Sawyer who was in the Va. censuses of 1624 and 1625. At that time, he was on the Powell/ Blaney plantation (now Chippokes Plantation S.P.). Believed to be the son of John Sawyer of Gloucestershire, Eng., who died at Falling Creek in the Good Friday massacre of 1622. Also believed to be the William Sawyer who was on Ward's Creek in P. G.
