Greetings All! The oldest Cabin Point Cemetery I know of is now in the woods off Montpelier Road. The only modern tombstones are for the Butts family. There are a few others, but you have to hunt for them in the woods. James Hundley Deal 1817-1894 Elizabeth Ann Winson Deal 1802-1873 Wm. Emmett 1854-1855 J. O. Fitchett 1860-1916 Timothy Sydney Worthan 1826-1855 Louise Burt 1891-1906 Richard A. Perry, b. Dec. 13 (or 18) 1824, d. March 29, 1834 James Caldwell, d. Jan. 23, 1860, aged 32 years, Scottish birth. There are some Parkers and some Butts graves. If anyone wants therm, please let me know. Harrisons were also buried there, but they (along with their tombstones) have all been removed to Brandon plantation cemetery in Prince George Co. Other grave depressions are evident, but no grave markers are now visible. Eve S.
