VAGenWeb web site. http://www.rootsweb.com/~vasurry/ The How To Find Your Family page has some specific references. Particularly useful is the Index to Virginia Wills and Administrations online at the Library of Virginia. It can help you locate a will or administration for your subject. Also the online land patents and grants can be useful, even after the seventeenth century, in tracing the wanderings of your ancestors. Good hunting! -- Eve S.
