The lists of tithables for the years after 1660 or thereabouts and continuing through the remainder of the 17th-Century appeared in installments in the years 1985-1988 in the "Magazine of VA Genealogy." Those are most worthwhile for ANYONE researching early Surry. I understand that those lists have been published as a book, however I do not know of that fact for sure. How about it, Surry folks, are those published now?
